Dear Sonny Rollins,

Thank you so much to you and your band for playing so generously yesterday in Lucerne. I was not expecting such an extensive and expressive performance: you played the portrait of the artist, and it sure was as a young man. We all rejoiced as you and your band spurred us into further applause with that delightful Sonny touch of the Caribbean. You, your band, your sound engineer and support, your general strength, your unstoppable stamina!... blew tears out of our eyes. Thank you.

To Duane Hubbard, son of the great Freddie, who posted comment 973 just below: with Sonny on stage with his bright red shirt and his shiny horn, I know at least one Little Sunflower that has a smile on her face.
