My name is Joe and I run a big band in NJ named One More Once. We have been working on an educational program for 3 years where student big bands from local schools play an opening set for us, and also get the chance to play with guest artists and see the guest perform with OMO. These events happen at Trumpets Jazz Club in Montclair, NJ and also in the school's auditoriums when we need a larger venue. We were wondering if you may be interested in getting involved with something like this. It has been a WONDERFUL experience for everyone. We have had some great night, including a night with Wycliffe Gordon last April and one with Conrad Herwig this past Wednesday night. We would be honored to have someone like you involved.
