Man Sonny, thanks for always being a solid, grounded player. The press makes you into a legend, but all I need to know was that there was a guy playing at the top level, making a living at it for a whole lifetime. I'm phasing back in my late 30's, the kids getting more independent and my law studies winding down. That next goal is playing festivals and shows and looking for structural changes that can help jazz get marketed to a wider audience without losing its technical complexity. It's kind of like politics: the more you know, the better off you'll be. React from ignorance, and your stuck with with well.. less beauty. I'll keep an eye on your tour schedule.
